Applies to: vehicles with Audi tablet
You can adjust the settings on the MMI system, e.g. in order to restrict operation of the Audi tablet for children.
Select: MENU button > Settings > left control button > Audi tablet settings.
Lock Audi tablet
When this function is activated 
the touchscreen on the Audi tablet is locked. You can continue to receive and watch content on the Audi tablet and adjust the volume link►. The system is controlled via the MMI.

When this function is activated access to the media sources (e.g. radio, DVD drive) on the MMI is enabled. The files from the internal flash memory on the Audi tablet can be accessed without restriction.

You can use this function as an operating aid for your passengers. When the function is confirmed, the home screen -1- Fig. ► is displayed on all Audi tablets currently connected.
Audio via MMI
In the settings on the Audi tablet link► you can output the audio playback to the vehicle s loudspeakers. The following settings are available:
- allow: This option is activated when the vehicle leaves the factory. Your passengers can send the audio output from the Audi tablet directly to the vehicle s loudspeakers without any restrictions.
- never allow: None of your passengers can send the audio output from the Audi tablet to the vehicle s loudspeakers.
Navigation destinations
You can send navigation destinations from the Audi map app to the MMI system. The following settings are available:
- allow: Your passengers can send navigation destinations from the Audi tablet directly to the MMI system without any restrictions.
- never allow: None of your passengers can send the navigation destination from the Audi tablet to the MMI system.
- with request: This option is activated when the vehicle leaves the factory. Before the navigation destination can be sent from the Audi tablet to the MMI system, you are asked on the MMI system whether you want to allow this.
Send language settings to Audi tablet
The language on all Audi tablets currently connected to the MMI system is reset to match the current language on the MMI system.

You can set the measurement units on the MMI system. The measurement units on the MMI system are synchronised with the Audi tablet link►.
