Adjust the head restraint so that the top of the head restraint is level with the top of your head. If this is not possible, try to adjust the head restraint as near as possible to this position.
Adjusting head restraint
Applies to: vehicles with manual head restraints
To move the head restraint up/forwards*, take hold of it on both sides and move it up/forwards* until you feel it click into place at the desired position.
To move the head restraint down/back*, press the side button and slide the head restraint downwards/towards the rear*. Release the button and slide the head restraint further until you feel it click into place.
Applies to: vehicles with electric head restraints
To move the head restraint* forwards/backwards press the side button* and slide the head restraint to the desired position. Release the button and slide the head restraint further until you feel it click into place Fig. 77►.
