Lift the rear end of the soft top and remove the screwdriver which was previously inserted in the hinge.
Close the storage box lid -1- and lower the rear end of the soft top -2- ►.
Insert the release tool into the opening in the back panel and turn it in the direction of the arrow until you feel it reach the end position Fig. 57►.
Replace the cover Fig. ►.
Return the tools to their storage location.
- Drive to a qualified workshop without delay (but do not exceed 70 km/h) and have the fault rectified.
- When opening or closing the storage box lid, keep clear of the frame mechanism and other moving parts to prevent your hands from becoming pinched or trapped.
After lowering the soft top, do not push it all the way down to the high-gloss trim strip - risk of damage! Drive to a qualified workshop soon and have the fault rectified.
Note
Make sure that the locking mechanism is fully closed.
