If you hear a long beep for a few seconds and the LED in the
button* starts flashing when you switch on the parking aid, or while the system is activated, a system fault has occurred. Have the fault rectified by a qualified workshop.

If the fault is not corrected before you switch off the ignition, it will only be indicated by the flashing LED in the
button* the next time you switch on the parking aid. However, you will still hear the warning beep if you activate the parking aid by pressing the button.
