Removing
Remove the rear light unit from the body panel link►.
Applies to: Saloon
Remove the screws securing the bulb carrier -A- Fig. 371►.
Applies to: Avant/allroad
Unfasten the clips securing the bulb carrier -B- Fig. 371►.
Detach the bulb carrier -A- or -B- Fig. 372►.
Pull the defective bulb out of the plug-in holder or turn it to remove it from the bayonet holder.
Installing
Plug the new bulb into the plug-in holder or turn it to secure it in the bayonet holder.
Attach the bulb carrier.
Re-install the rear light.
