You can use the infotainment system to select which doors are unlocked by the central locking system.
Select: Function selector button CAR > Central locking. Or:
Select: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems* > Audi A4 settings > Central locking*.
Unlocking single door/Unlock doors* - you can specify which doors you wish to have unlocked when you unlock the Audi A4.
- If you select off/all, the whole Audi A4 will be unlocked when you press the button on the remote control key.
- If you select on/driver, only the driver's door will be unlocked when you press the button on the remote control key once. On Audi A4s with convenience key, only one door will be unlocked (whichever door you grip by the handle). If you press the button twice, the whole Audi A4 will be unlocked. The whole Audi A4 is always locked when you press the button.
Boot lid/Disable boot lid handle - If you select on, you can no longer open the luggage compartment using the release catch on the boot lid Fig. 1. In this case, you can open the boot lid using the button on the remote control key Fig. 2 or the * button on the driver's door Fig. 3.
Fold mirrors - If you select on, the exterior mirrors will be folded in automatically when you press the button on the remote control key Link.
Confirmation tone/Tone when locking1) - If you select on, an acoustic signal will be given when you lock the Audi A4.
Auto Lock/Lock when driving - if you select on, the whole Audi A4 is locked automatically when it reaches a speed of 15 km/h.
