When cleaning the vehicle with a high-pressure cleaner, always follow the operating instructions for the equipment. This applies particularly to the operating pressure and the spraying distance. Do not point the spray jet at the charging unit in the radiator grille or at the charging dock*/charging clip*. Maintain a distance of at least 40 cm.
Do not use a high-pressure cleaner to remove snow and ice.
Never use high-pressure cleaners with a round-jet nozzle or "dirt blasters".
The water must not be hotter than 60 °C.
Use a dry cloth to remove dirt from the Audi e-tron charging system.
Use a soft cloth with alcohol-free cleaning agent to remove dirt from the charging dock*/charging clip*.
WARNING
- Never immerse the Audi e-tron charging system or the connectors in water.
- Only clean the Audi e-tron charging system when the operating unit is fully disconnected from the electricity grid and from the vehicle.
CAUTION
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or fluids containing alcohol to clean the charging dock*/charging clip* – risk of discolouration.
