An energy flow display can be called up on the instrument cluster/infotainment display1).
The display is animated on the infotainment display1).
Instrument cluster display
Select the energy flow display view using the multi-function steering wheel.
(Applies to vehicles with Audi virtual cockpit: ) Select the following on the multi-function steering wheel: left control button >
Energy flow.
(Applies to vehicles with analogue instrument cluster: ) Select the
On-board computer tab and call up the
Energy flow display by scrolling the left thumbwheel on the multi-function steering wheel.
Infotainment display1)
Select the following on the infotainment system:
MENU button >
Car > left control button >
Audi drive select.

When you call up the energy flow display, the power currently available from the electric drivetrain is displayed.
The bar is displayed in different colours depending on the power status -4- Fig. 126►
:
- White: Electric power currently available
- Green: Electric power currently being utilised
The more segments that are coloured in the E-Max zone -4-, the longer you can utilise the maximum power level. The segments in the E-Max zone disappear when the maximum power level is no longer available.
The vehicle is automatically switched to combustion engine power when the available electric power is too low.
The power availability is always restricted under the following conditions:
- Very cold or very hot high-voltage battery temperature.
- Low high-voltage battery charge
The power availability is not visible when the indicator lamp
is lit.

Note
The available power must be at a high level for fast acceleration in electric mode (e.g. when overtaking another vehicle).
