The display shows --- °C when the engine oil temperature is below 60 °C.
The engine has reached its operating temperature in normal driving conditions when the oil temperature is between 80 ℃ and 120 ℃. If the engine is running under increased load at high ambient temperatures, the oil temperature may increase above this value. This is no cause for concern, provided that the indicator/warning lamps
