If you hear a warning tone for a few seconds when you switch on the parking aid, or while the parking aid is activated, a system fault has occurred. Please have the fault corrected by an Audi dealer or qualified workshop.

The warning tone is given just once to indicate the fault. If you try activating the parking aid again, the system will not respond. This also applies if you switch the ignition off and then on again: the warning tone will only sound the first time you try activating the parking aid.

If you hear a warning tone for a few seconds and the diode in the switch starts flashing when you switch on the parking aid, or while the parking aid is activated, a system fault has occurred. Please have the fault corrected by an Audi dealer or qualified workshop.

If the fault is not corrected before you switch off the ignition, it will only be indicated by the flashing diode in the switch the next time you activate the parking aid by selecting reverse gear. However, you will still hear the warning beep if you activate the parking aid by pressing the switch.
